The University makes sure that work does not come in the way of a person while he is completing his studies. For this the University provides various facilities and distance learning is one of them.
Distance learning was introduced because some students had to work and study at the same time. This made it very difficult for the student to come and attend classes in person. This is where the University stepped in and introduced distance learning. The university started its distance learning facility from 1989. This facility was convenient for the working students as they could decide their own schedule and timings for the classes that would not intervene with their working hours
In distance learning the students receive their assignments online and can take tests and other exams online.
