It is the largest private University in North America and provides education through a combination of campus study and online formats.
UOP’s online program was started in 1989 giving the students freedom to complete their degree from wherever they wanted. The UOP online was mainly targeted at the working students who found it difficult to spare time and attend classes everyday.

Students can log into online forums where they can talk to their teachers and fellow students, exchange doubts and assignments. Why the online program is better than the normal traditional program?
Students can attend class anytime and anywhere. This unique program is specially designed for working students so that they can study from their workplaces or their respective homes.
The timings and the classes are flexible i.e. the student decides when he wants his class, where he wants it and when.
The student teacher ratio is good which ensures that each student is given adequate time to speak and interact with the teacher and students. In this manner students learn faster.
The students can opt for only two courses at a time making it easy to manage assignments and homework’s for both the courses. Many colleges have students taking as much as five courses at a time which creates a chaos and increases the workload.
