The students are considered to be the pillars of education. They gather knowledge through the educational institutions and then spread that whenever required to the mass. It is the students that make the base of an educational institution strong. In this article we will take a close look at the different aspects of the students who come to study at the University of Phoenix.
The normal age of the uop student is somewhere between 33 to 35 years. A student of thirty three years is considered to be an undergraduate. On the other hand, a uop student of thirty six years is considered to be a graduate. In the University of Phoenix, most of the students have commitments related to work. Moreover, another interesting fact is that almost two-third of this University student are female.
As far as the percentage of undergraduate students is concerned, 29.9% of the total students belong to this group. 12,9% of students are considered to be graduates. 28.1% of students enroll themselves in Axia College. The uop student gets all facilities as far as the study materials are concerned.
A uop student can enroll himself/herself for the online classes. For this, he will be asked to give a registration charge. The uop student can get a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, a doctoral or an associate’s degree. He can participate in the online discussion that takes place between teachers and students. Not only this, a uop studen can also have full access to electronic books that have links and hyperlinks to do the necessary research work.
The University of Phoenix offers basically higher levels of education. The class of an online undergraduate continues for five weeks. On the other hand, classes of graduate uop student last for six weeks. If the classes take place one after the other without any gap in between, the uop student can earn his required degree within two-three classes.
There are some people who find it a problem to attend class once in a week. For such a uop student, special arrangements are being made. Most of the uop students belong to the age group of thirty. Therefore, most of them have a working experience for at least 7 years or more. In this regard, the uop student has to be provided with practical knowledge rather than only theoretical knowledge.
The uop student is given all kind of special facilities so that he can share his/her educational experience in the workplace as well as in other places. One of the most important reason behind the success of the University of Phoenix is that it provides effective educational tools to both the people as well as the employers.
There are around two million uop students who take online classes at one thousand six hundred and seventy institutions. Almost sixty percent of uop students have reimbursed their tuition by the employers. Some of the programs offered by the University of Phoenix can be as costly as $30,000 per year.
The main concept of the University of Phoenix is to provide higher educational degree to working adults. In the year 1976, there were only eight uop students who were working adults as well and registered themselves under the University of Phoenix. Later on it started expanding its course of education as the number of students started growing drastically.
There are different plans and programs that a uop student can afford. All he/she needs to do is check the website and the available forms there. If a uop student can make only this much of effort nothing can stop him from achieving his future education.
